During the late 90's Nissan California was very popular in Philippines because of its sporty wagon design. Nissan California's release was named first as distributed in North America competing with wagon sedan American Cars. Nissan California was the only wagon offered in fastback version in relation with Nissan Sunny or also known as Nissan Sentra in Asia.

Nissan California was the extended Sedan Boxtype version from Nissan Sentra. It was launched during 1966 as Datsun 1000 and later the production ends and distributed as Nissan Sentra in variant of Nissan California.

Nissan California and Nissan Sentra is also known in USA and in Mexico it is named as Nissan Tsuru.

Nissan California is a compact model line and larger than Nissan March but not as big as Nissan Bluebird or Nissan Maxima. Although Nissan California has no latest version, Nissan Sentra was produced continuously and still very competitive these days. Nissan California 1989 uses Nissan A engine. In Japan Nissan California is a very special model named Sunny California, and its market target was a private buyers and competition from family vans, because vans are usually designed in long back seat in Japan, Nissan California is design to make passengers more comfortable seating in a luxury car sedan.

Milo Rivera Wins 4th National Slalom Racing Crown

Milo Rivera Take another got the Crown of its 4h National Slalom Racing at Pampanga. The year created Milo as the complete task of his winning streak clinched the overall best time in the final round of the 2017 Race Motorsport Club Phoenix National Slalom Series held in Robinsons Parking Ground in Pampanga.

Various sponsors help Milo Rivera achieve his winning success without them, The Federal Tires, United Auctioneers Inc. , Autoperformance PH, and Place Well International Services Corporation. Milo Rivera Armed with his Toyota Starlet to a winning time 39.10 after its intense  battle with Inigo Anton till the end of the race.

Milo Rivera's brother Estefano Rivera also shows skills in the Race as he clinched second overall in the 2017 Championship. The brothers are excited in 2018 and has positive looks for the years to come in their racing careers.

Mitsubishi Colt 1980 1200 GL 3 Doors

Mitsubishi Colt 1980 Model arrive in the Philippines late 1980's with some got the imported vehicle earlier than the same year but imported from Europe. The Models of small coupe with 3 Doors are very popular and increasing in Europe, they started the Manufacturing Plant in Europe in partnership with Mitsubishi Corporation. Later Models came to Philippines from Japan are especially Assembled in Other Asian Countries due to the right hand drive and Instrument conversion.

In the Philippines the Mitsubishi Colt are very affordable and much more easier to own comparing to its competitor variant models in 1980's like the Ford Laser and The Toyota Starlet. Because of its very demanding market in Manila and Visayas some of later Models of the Mitsubishi Cold 1980 Design Models are assemble in Philippines from Mitsubishi partner contractors.

In the year 1990's The Mitsubishi Colt was out not planned to be distributed to the Philippines because of the increasing demand of other Model brands but not Mitsubishi, in the 90's Korean Vehicles have out marketed of some Japanese Cars in the Philippines, and Mitsibishi Motors Distributors in the Philippines decided to sell only their Top car models that can compete in Design and Quality.

Filipino Racer, Dexter Daquigan Wins in Malaysia Speed Festival Racing

Sepang International Circuit Malaysia named the Champion of Malaysia Speed Festival Racing Driven by Filipino Race Car Driver Dexter Daquigan using his Number 981 Mini Cooper. Dexter said that his number one goal in this year was to place first, it is not luck but it is all about hard work and dedication; this are the two reasons why I was able to achieve my goal.

Last October 2017 Dexter also wins the Championship Racing in Classic Mini Championship Asia; likewise Dexter showed that preparation is the key to success, he had the every right to be confident after winning the previous races. Dexter's Race car was double check upon teams arrival a day before its shakedown as anticipated for wet raise, where Dexter claimed P2 with a best lap of 2:54.727.

There where 37 cars on the race track, Dexter banked in a good start for the lease making sure to stay away out of trouble and unleashed a clean race. His other race rivals was Alvin Ong on No.766 and No.320 Thillai of Cella Auto Garage Malacca.

Volkswagen 1968 Type 3

Before the Assembly Plant of Volkswagen Philippines Inagurated in 1970s the Volkswagen Type R or Type 3 in other Country was a popular Series type of Volkswagen Model. The Volkswagen Type 3 or R has 3 type Series the Box Type which are Imported in the Philippines, the Hatchback and the Long Type Wagon. Out of 3 Models the Box Type came on the Interest of the Filipino People, it was distributed by the DMG Company in the Philippines which is Diesel Motor Group and its sales and distributing office in Quiapo Manila. The Colkswagen Type r or 3 is very popular since it was the first Series of Volkswagen model that has fuel injection.

In the Philippines you can see rare of this even during your Grandfathers Generation because of controlled sales and Volkswagen and DMG Company in the Philippines are in their preparatory years of Starting their Assembly Plant in Mandaluyong and this started other ideal models from Philippines like the Sakbayan and the Combi customize. The type R issue was left behind and buyers focuses their attention on the new models assemble in the Philippines.

1979 - 1988 Mitsubishi Lancer Boxtype

Its a toys for the big boys type of car, Mitsubishi Lancer Boxtype is fun to own because of its very sporty look and can be easily customized by car enthusiast and racers.

Renault TS 1976

One of the Classic strongest engine of all time in the Philippines. You can see this type of vehicles still moving around in any southern part of the Philippines, the reason is that it was part of the secret trading agreement between Europe and the Philippines involving southern part port of the Philippines Cebu City till late 1970's. It was sold evenly without distributors. From Cebu ports Pinoy Businessmen's with their Chinese Business Men Friends are present for Auction purpose but the Renault TS was really the center of attraction. The story came from one of my friend in Cebu City Philippines. He mentioned that it was like a bulletproof vehicle that it has a very strong body on an average acceleration for small cars comparing to Japanese Cars in the same year, even though Japanese model cars has very good designs and also US made Cars has wider body.

Until this year I am seeing some of this cars in Visayas, Bacolod, Iloilo, Cebu Cagayan De Oro and Bohol. Even one of my Filipino Chinese Friend their family still use it until now and would you believe that the Air conditioned is still working?. This is the best evidence that spare parts are really reliable and strong for European Made Cars. As far as I remember I ask him what parts did they change so far, he only mentions the light bulbs has been replaced.

Nissan Cefiro 1997

The Nissan Cefiro 1997 Model is the only model in Nissan has been sold in one year model. The series of Nissan Sedans like the Sentra, Maxima and California is in the top sales list, but when it comes to a luxury type sedan competing with the Corona in the 90's the Nissan Cefiro is more of Unique style with bigger body and modern lamp style.

I remember one owns by Ms. Gretchen Baretto and not drive by her but a driver. She was young then and we saw her in Greenhills after their Sunday Noontime Show GMA Supershow. You can see the Nissan Cefiro is use by other executive and this number of unit models was imported from Japan with its Unique orders on the left hand drive to for Philippines.

1990 Nissan 300ZX Turbo

I have seen this car sometime in 90's Driven by Ramo Revilla Jr. in Manila, also I have seen Mr. Jose Marie Chan with this Convertible Version in Ayala Alabang in the same year. Nissan 300ZX Turbo was very popular in Japan during those years. It was sold over One Hundred Thousand Units in Japan itself.

In United States Nissan 300ZX Turbo Convertible was fairly in Demand and requesting more Units to be imported from Japan with different colors. In the Philippines it was sold by a single distributor imported directly from Japan however the tire size are not available in the Philippines so the buyers need to make sure they order spare tires more than usual.

The Nissan 300ZX is fast enough to beat other Turbo Sports cars during the 90's and its contenders like the Mitsubishi Eclipse was left behind but the design was more focused on non flexible lights.

1977 Toyota Celica in the Philippines

I have seen this type of vehicle passing by in our streets in Pacita Complex San Pedro Laguna during the 80's. I never knew this is a kind of Japanese Sports Car that every teen and every Professional dreaming to have during those days. I have seen the power and popularity of this car just when i grow, and until know it is popular especially in common racing not only in the Philippines but also abroad.

Now that i have grown i am thinking how to have it for me in the future, the beauty of this car attracts me and as i saw its performance in the the racing world i feel more aggressive to have one of this car in the future. I have seen many Toyota Celica models but most of it the 1977 Model is more than i need than the latest models, i think it is much more easy to buy and also it feels like having an accomplishment in your life if you have one of this sports car. I never like any of 2 doors sports car in my life except any of lamborghini models but i think to have a 1977 Toyota Celica is more realistic for me to have it in my garage.

Toyota Starlet 1982

The affordable sporty look hatchback car of all time in the 80's, although it has limited sales in the Philippines because of distributors, it was first sold in manila in the 2nd quarter of 1982. My uncles neighbor use to have one but bought it as a second hand.

I heard their stories and all their first wish was to have a hatchback car, in the 80's hatchback cars are sporty look and more affordable than sedan sports like lancer's; Others on their wishlist was the ford laser hatchback, and in the province the volkswagen brazilla. The Toyota Starlet are only sold in Manila and Cebu, so other areas near buy got their starlet as a used or second hand after some few years and the other models came but also limited.

The toyota starlet runs on gasoline only and on carborator, it is two doors but convenient for small family or as a teenage or school guy car, beside it has low maintenance cost. The hatchback is a good option for out of town trips like beaches near manila batangas. The features are all standard with 4 speed gear shift and it has AC.

During the late 90's it is more preferred to use on drag races, i have seen it competed with the 1991 galant.
