The fifth Generation of Toyota Corona with Engines Single Overhead Cam (SOHC) running on 1.6 rear wheel drive is the only vehicle in the 80s that has station wagon. It was introduced and imported in the Philippines during 1980's but was delivered by some independent importer from Japan during 1975 with the earliest models.
The Toyota Corona Station Wagon is the only model in the same year of 1979 that has long wagon and lift back. Most of car brands came out in 1979 was a lift back and sedan types like ford laser, brazilla from volkswagen, toyota starlet, mitsubishi mirage and the colt. The Toyota Corona Station Wagon was one of a kind with a hard body and hard top. During early 80s if your car has dual pair headlights you are the boss.
The Toyota Corona Station Wagon comforts the owners with its strong engine and safety, a soft steering wheel but heavy body and with comfortable soft seat. The strong headlights on dual pair is a real satisfaction at night shifting lights from low to high. Until know i can still feel the comfort of this car when driving one of these in year 2000.
