1979 - 1988 Mitsubishi Lancer Boxtype

Its a toys for the big boys type of car, Mitsubishi Lancer Boxtype is fun to own because of its very sporty look and can be easily customized by car enthusiast and racers.

The Mitsubishi Lancer Boxtype 1988 was called a second generation Lancer. Mitsubishi Lancer Boxtype Model was marketed in Europe in the name on Lancer EX with turbocharge 4 cylinder engine. A model of Mitsubishi Lancer in Europe was the first lancer to use the 4G63 engine and in the other Mitsubishi series second generation models like Mitsubishi Galant VR4 and Lancer Evolutions.

Mitsubishi Lancer 1979-1988, in Philippines it was popularly known as Boxtype with 3 variants of models like, SL, GSR and GT. HISTORY

Mitsubishi Lancer Boxtype made started in Japan in the year 1979.  It was distributed with entirely new designed engine compared to previous Mitsubishi lancer models and using the new carburetors system equipped with MCA (Mitsubishi Clean Air Engine) passing the US and Japan emission standards. In addition, Mitsubishi Lancer boxtype had improved with its engine noise and vibration for smooth driving experience.
